If covid taught us anything, it’s that many aspects of daily life were unnecessarily complicated.
Healthcare was one of them.
Whether you’re pregnant or a new mom, you’re juggling a ton, from work to home stressors to concerns about your health. As women ourselves, we wanted to help provide a place where the women of Texas could access high quality health care and support without having to bend their schedules around an in-office clinic visit.
That’s why we created the Source virtual care center.
The center is designed to support pregnant women and new moms by offering a number of services via a center director and client advocates.
By booking an appointment, you have free access to the following services without the need for insurance:
◾ Material assistance related to pregnancy or young children
◾ Virtual pregnancy and parenting classes
◾ Professional counseling
◾ Decision support counseling for pregnancy
◾ Care coordination services, including public assistance program enrollment support
You can access the virtual care center Monday through Friday from 9:30a to 12pm and 1pm to 5:30pm.
Once you’ve submitted an appointment request through The Source’s website, a staff member will reach out to schedule the appointment and collect some basic demographic information. This information will be used to create an Athena profile.
You’ll then receive access to their Athena patient portal to review/sign any necessary disclosures and notices.
When the scheduled appointment time arrives, a virtual care center staff member will call you (or meet with them via Zoom) to complete the rest of the intake process.
No, all services are free of charge and no insurance is needed.
We have a list of trusted providers in communities across Texas we can refer you to. These partners have been vetted by The Source to ensure quality of service and missional alignment.
Please call 911 for emergencies; if you’d like to reach us outside of center hours, leave us a voicemail at 1-866-4WOMEN4 and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
